There's still (a little) time ...

Just a reminder that on Sunday, I'll be swimming in some REALLY cold water for a cause.

The 39th annual Olcott Polar Bear Swim for Sight will take place just off the shore in beautiful Olcott, NY.

I have committed to taking the plunge for the fifth straight year and have gotten contributions from several friends, associates, and listeners.

I have also committed to donating $100 of my own funds for this worthwhile cause.

I'd really like to raise $250 for this endeavor and need just a little more help to make that happen.

If you can't drop of a donation at WLVL's studios, please use the button below to donate via PayPal. Anyone with a charge card can use PayPal. If donating by check, please make the check out to the Olcott Lions Club.

As an FYI, I have uploaded a few photos from Polar Bear Swims of past into a new album.

Larry Castellani ...

is a philosphy professor at Niagara County Community College.

He called into Dialog today and gave out the URL for his blog, which is This is not to be confused with, which is really just another Republican outlet so they can whine about how mistreated they are.

Larry is obviously a bright guy, but sometimes speaks over people's heads a little bit. He might catch more fish if he used more simple bait ... but people talk how they talk, ya know?

Anyway, just wanted to put that URL out there for those who missed it.
